Dr. Tom Sunny holds a PhD in Materials and Process Engineering from the University of Waikato, New Zealand, with professional experience spanning academic research, applied innovation, and industry collaboration. His expertise lies in materials engineering, advanced and natural fibre composites, sustainable materials, and translational research.
As Chief Innovation Officer at CRIC, Dr. Sunny leads initiatives in applied research, industry consultancy, innovation development, and capacity building — with a strong emphasis on sustainability, impact, and industry relevance.
